This diamond is extra special. I remember when my grandmother inherited it in a set of earrings.
I thought we were just going on a riverboat dinner cruise with some of our friends. Little did I know that Jason had bigger plans. Once we finished dinner he asked if I wanted to walk around the boat. I led our group of 6 up to the top deck. Jason then started to talk about how he made a lock for us to put on the bridge but now it’s not allowed. He gave me the lock but I couldn’t read it because it was dark out, next thing I knew he was down on one knee.
I later learned that Jason had contacted my grandpa in January to ask about my grandma’s diamond. One weekend when we were back in Iowa (we live in Indianapolis) Jason and my sister snuck away and met my grandpa at Josephs.
This diamond is extra special because I remember when my grandma inherited it in a set of earrings. I remember being in middle school when we took the earrings to Josephs to have them inspected and appraised. My sister has had hers in a ring for several years and now I have mine!
