We're celebrating summer by giving back to one of the many great organizations in Iowa and we need your help. During the month of July for every new “like” on our Facebook page we will donate $1 to Children and Families of Iowa (CFI). It's that easy. We're starting the month with 857 fans. Let's see where we end up come July 31!
About CFI
Children & Families of Iowa restores hope, builds futures and changes lives for thousands of Iowans every year. They’re making a difference for people who have nowhere else to turn.
CFI has been in town nearly as long as Josephs Jewelers. It was started in 1888 as a response to a growing need for safe, loving homes for abandoned, neglected and "unwanted" children in Iowa. It’s estimated that since 1888 CFI has touched over half a million lives.
From a small adoption agency serving a few hundred children to a statewide organization serving over 21,000 people last year alone, CFI has grown by adhering to one, basic principle: every child, every family deserves to be safe.
This tradition remains strong even today. Tough economic times are even tougher on those living with poverty, mental illness, addiction and family turmoil. As always, Children & Families of Iowa will be there finding new and creative ways to help Iowa’s families.
